Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna is pleased to announce that we are participating in the 2016 Women Build! The Women Build home is located at 420 Charlestown Place, Charlestown, MD.

This is the home of Brandi Forman and her son, Eli. You can read her story here.

What is Women Build?

Women Build is Habitat International's program for women who want to learn construction skills, and build homes and communities. Projects are held across the United States and in over 30 countries. No experience is required!

How can I help?

We are in need of material donations, monetary donations, and volunteers to complete this project.

  • To donate materials, contact Dave.
  • To donate to this project, click here or contact Athena.
  • To volunteer, click here or contact Brianne.

When can I work?

We will begin construction on the Women Build home in April. We are on site every Wednesday-Saturday, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, so that is when we need volunteers. Both individuals and groups ae welcome! We take groups of up to 20 people.

Is there anything else to do besides construction?

Yes! You can fundraise, help with the house dedication, or serve on committees. Brianne would be happy to find the perfect fit for you!
